A killer has made Manchester's Westy Lane his local hunting ground, leaving the police a very special gift - a tiny forget me not flower placed delicately in his victim's entrails. Lisa Noone is twelve years old and wise beyond her years. Pat Noone is her mother, a fearsome woman who just happens to be a member of the oldest profession in the book. Together their lives are far from perfect, but they will always have each other. Or will they? One night after a youth disco, Benny arrives in Lisa's life.
